The 1985 Feminist Periodicals Conference was hosted in Montreal from June 14-16, following similar conferences in 1974, 1975, and 1980. Representatives from 35 feminist publications attended the conference in order to network, attend workshops related to the development of their periodicals, and strategize for the future of feminist publishing. This note was sent to facilitators in advance of the conference. It describes the role of the facilitator and gives advice on leading a successful workshop.
