Freedom of Choice – Still Fighting This 1991 flyer by the Ontario Coalition for Abortion Clinics (OCAC) invited individuals to the May 25 protest against years of government inaction on abortion and safe and effective reproductive services for women. Despite the repeal of Bill C-43, whole regions of Canada still had no abortion services and OCAC called on the Federal government to ensure comprehensive health care was provided to all women. The Ontario government was encouraged to improve hospital services, provide more funding for existing abortion clinics, provide services and counselling, and ensure equitable access in all regions of the province.
