Graphic Feminism – Graphic Art of the Ontario Women’s Movement, 1970-86

This 1986 book provides information and context about the art exhibition “Graphic Feminism” that took place at A Space Gallery in Toronto the same year. The show was organized by the Canadian Women’s Movement Archives. This book explains how graphic art and culture have played an integral part in the women’s movement, and provides a brief historical background of the methods used by the artists to “spread the word” of feminism.
