India Mahila Association – Call for Action on Violence Against Indian Women

In 1981, the India Mahila Association issued a call to action to build a coalition of community organizations and interested individuals that would develop a concrete strategy to address the increase in violence against women in the Indian community, including wife battering , murder, and rape.
