International Women’s Day – March 10, 1984: A Special Call to Trade Union Women

This 1984 flyer by the International Women’s Day Committee (IWDC)  calls on trade union women to participate in planning for International Women’s Day events in Toronto as a strong show of solidarity between the women’s movement and labour. The flyer says that this year’s demands will include opposition to wage controls, better paternal leave, wage equity, union rights, the end of sexual harassment, and affirmative action for women, among others.
