International Women’s Day Toronto (1988) – Women Unite to Fight Racism, Sexism and Economic Inequality

The theme of Toronto’s 1988 International Women’s Day March and Rally, organized by the March 8th Coalition, was Women Unite to Fight Racism, Sexism and Economic Inequality. The inside pages of this broadsheet look at the issues of employment equity, violence against women and children, lesbian sexuality, reproductive choice, imperialism and struggles of native people, and women fighting around the world.
