Issues & Campaigns (1992): Come Out Against a Bad Deal

This letter was written and circulated in 1992 by members of the Lesbian Issues Committee and the Association of Lesbians and Gays of Ottawa to warn against the Canada Clause in the Charlottetown agreement, which would significantly erode the rights of lesbian, gay, and bisexual people in Canada. The letter urges readers to join the “No” campaign by the National Action Committee on the Status of Women, or organize their own.
