Report (1987): Kids Not Cash

This 1987 report is about the joint provincial campaign to improve child care, organized by the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) and Ontario Coalition for Better Day Care (OCBCC). The document looks at quality, wages and profit; the variety of needs, and funding and offers a series of recommendations to address the current ‘patch work’, calling for a national system that sets standards, meets the needs and expectations of families and children, and is affordable, accessible and of high quality.
