A Century of Women And Work 1900-2000

This booklet was published in 2007 by the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) with the support of many affiliated unions. It provides an overview of women workers and their struggle for equality in Canada from 1900-2000, and highlights the role played by the labour movement and the unions representing women in the workplace. The booklet features original works of art representing each decade and serves as the companion to the “A Century of Women and Work” exhibit sponsored by the OFL and the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre.
