Rehire the Three Pratt Women This 1980 leaflet, penned by the Pratt Three Defence Committee and signed by dozens of supporters, calls for solidarity with three women who were unjustly fired by Pratt and Whitney in Longueuil Quebec due to their union, feminist, and socialist activity. The women were also subsequently fired from other jobs. A grievance was filed by the United Auto Workers (UAW) Local 510 and a complaint lodged with the Quebec Human Rights Commission (QHC). The QHC found evidence of discrimination and of RCMP involvement and ruled that the women be reinstated, but the company refused.
