Technical Report: Legal Information and Wife Abuse in Immigrant Families

This 1994 report by the Legal Resource Centre at the University of Alberta was commissioned by the Department of Justice Canada in order to better understand wife abuse in immigrant families and the role legal information and systems play in addressing it. Based on interviews with service providers at immigrant serving agencies, the report provides insight and suggestions to meet the needs of immigrant women who experience abuse.
