The Issue is Choice

This 1983 info-flyer created by the Ontario Coalition for Abortion Clinics (OCAC) links the worldwide protests against the Cruise missile to women’s fight for control over their own bodies and the right to choose their own lives. The OCAC expresses solidarity with the demand to divert government spending on war and defense to the funding of human needs. This includes those that support a woman’s right to choose, including safe access to abortion, universal daycare, adequate child support, safe and effective contraception, and education in schools on sexuality and reproduction.
