More Money for Women!

In this pamphlet by Toronto Wages for Housework Committee, the authors state that Pierre Elliot Trudeau promised in his throne speech on October 12 to re-index the Family Allowance to the cost of living on January 1, 1977 after freezing the Allowance in the previous year. The petition also demands that the government repay money lost in the past year, remove the Family Allowance from taxable income, and provide a full wage for housework for all women.
