This 1974 report published by the Canadian Advisory Council on the Status of Women (CACSW)/Conseil consultatif canadien sur la situation de la femme (CCCSF) assesses the federal government’s implementation of the recommendations of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women (RCSW). Released three years after the RCSW tabled its report, the CACSW examines the 122 recommendations addressed to the federal government and evaluates the action that has been taken to implement them. Included in this report are the text of each RCSW recommendation, the federal government’s response as noted in Hansard 2 April 1973, and the CACSW’s assessment of the degree of implementation.
