This 1979 sticker was made by the International Women’s Day Committee (IWDC) in solidarity with the boycott against Radio Shack. The boycott supported striking workers—of whom 80% were women—and their fight for equitable wages and job security. Radio Shack fired workers who had joined the union, appealed the Labour Board’s decision to give the union bargaining rights, and hired strike-breakers.
