Boycott Radio Shack This 1979 sticker was made by the International Women’s Day Committee (IWDC) in solidarity with the boycott against Radio Shack. The boycott supported striking workers who were 80% female and their call for the equal pay, equitable wages, and job security. Radio Shack fired workers who had joined the union and appealed the Labour Board decision to give the union bargaining rights. After forcing workers out on strike, it hired strike-breakers.
