This 1990 postcard features the words “No New Law Restricting Abortion – Uphold Our Rights!” and was created by the Canadian Abortion Rights Action League (CARAL) to send to the House of Commons. It was part of a campaign to oppose a proposed bill by the Conservative government to recriminalize abortion two years after the 1988 Supreme Court decision in the Morgentaler case struck down the previous law.
