Latin American Women's Collective

The Latin American Women’s Collective (LAWC) was created in Toronto in 1983 and remained active until around 1990. This grassroots feminist group included women of many nationalities and was an active supporter of the women’s movement in Canada, as well as holding event to raise awareness of the political situation in their home countries.
