The Calgary Women’s Newspaper was published monthly by the Calgary Status of Women Action Committee (CSWAC) starting in the mid-1970s. It aimed to make information on women’s issues accessible to women in the region and featured feminist articles, events, campaign updates, book reviews, reader feedback, and international news. The newspaper covered a wide range of topics including economic justice, labour organizing, mental health, reproductive rights, pornography, and violence against women.
