The National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC) /Comité canadien d’action sur le statut de la femme (CCA) published the Bulletin starting in January 1975 to “report current events, International Women’s Year projects and activities and suggest areas for action on the implementation of recommendations of the 1970 Royal Commission on the Status of Women.”
In January 1975, the National Action Committee began to publish the Bulletin to“report current events, International Women’s Year projects and activities and suggest areas for action on the implementation of recommendations of the 1970 Royal Commission on the Status of Women.” The goal was to issue ten Bulletins over the year in addition to the five issues of Status of Women News in order “to strengthen communication between member organizations and subscribers.”
