The Velvet Fist was a cross-country feminist paper launched in 1970 by the Toronto Women’s Caucus (TWC) as an organizing and educational tool. As an activist feminist group open to all women, the TWC focussed on mobilizing and uniting women in collective struggle against their oppression.
