Launched in 1990, Abeng was the quarterly newsletter of Sister Vision Press. Abeng was created to keep the community informed about Sister Vision’s activities, books, and writers; as well as provide reviews of relevant books by other presses. The newsletter featured writing excerpts, updates from women’s organizations in Third World countries, interviews, and more.
