The Housing Committee of the National Action Committee on the Status of Women (NAC) /Comité canadien d’action sur le statut de la femme (CCA), based in Toronto, published the NAC Housing Newsletter from 1987 to the early 1990s. It focused on key housing issues across Canada and what women were doing to meet their housing needs.
The NAC Housing Newsletter was produced by the NAC Housing Committee, a small group of women based in Toronto. The committee decided its efforts would be best utilized by producing a newsletter that could solicit input on key housing issues across Canada and what women were doing for housing needs. The committee hoped the newsletter would provide information and support for local efforts.
