A protest outside ALFRED in the Eaton Centre, as part of International Women’s Day 1993 in Toronto. The International Ladies Garment Workers’ Union (ILGWU) was campaigning against Alfred Sung’s use of subcontracted garment workers, a practise that led to poor working conditions and low wages.
