Toronto Women’s Bookstore: Storefront after July 1983 Fire

This is a photo showing the outside of the Toronto Women’s Bookstore at 85 Harbord Street following the attempt on July 29, 1983, to firebomb the Morgentaler Clinic located upstairs. The resulting fire destroyed the bookstore, which later reopened at 73 Harbord Street. Signs from one of the support rallies that followed can also be seen in the photo.
