This undated poster provides details about a protest for eight Freedomite (Doukhobor) women who were imprisoned at Oakalla’s Prison in British Columbia and reported to be dying of starvation. The poster was issued by the Sons of Freedom youth and expresses their plans for a public demonstration at the prison on Saturday, May 15th. The title reads “All the riches in the world are not worth the sacrifice of one child”. Below there is a photo of the Sons of Freedom children in a New Haven residential school between the years of 1953-1959.
