This undated poster advertises a talk by ‘radical economist’ Cy Gonick, presented by the Graduate Student Association. Gonick was the founding editor of the socialist journal Canadian Dimension, and served as a Provincial Member of Manitoba Parliament with the New Democratic Party from 1969-1973. The talk addressed the questions: “Will social democracy work in B.C.? What is the relationship between capitalism and social democracy? What effect does foreign ownership have on social democratic politics?”
