1989 poster promoting talks by Elvia Alvarado, a campesino organizer from Honduras, on February 27 and 28 in Vancouver. Alvarado spoke to issues of landlessness, pesticide-abuse, farmworker literacy, and more. The events were sponsored by several organizations including the Canadian Farmworkers Union, the Canada-Honduras and Support Association, and the Vancouver YMCA International.
