This 1984 poster promotes Images of Resistance: An Evening of Feminist Media presented by Emma Productions and Women’s Action For Peace. The event featured the premiere of Stronger than Before by Ruth Bishop and Marusya Bociurkiw, 75 Terrific Looks (1982) by Marusya Bockiurkiw, and The Fleck Women (1978) by Kem Murch. These films explored women’s resistance to militarism, the influence of political female figures like Nancy Reagan, and labour rights for working women.
