This 1992 poster highlights a lesbian film and videomakers talk moderated by Marusya Bociurkiw in Montreal. The topic was “Interrogating Identities” and was focused on talking about “identity, the politics of naming, and cultural location”. Participants were Pratibha Farmer, Director of Sarl Red. Kush; Ellen Spiro, videomaker of Diana’s Hair Ego; Yvonne Welbon, director of Monique; and Diane Heffernan, producer of documentaries on lesbian life in Quebec.  The event was sponsored by the Cinema Studies Department, Graduate Students’ Visiting Artists Fund, Concordia Women’s Centre and the Lesbian Studies Coalition.
