This poster is for the first annual Japanese Canadian Centennial Society Arts Workshop Powell Street Festival held in 1977 at Oppenheimer Park. The Powell Street Festival is the largest Japanese Canadian festival, and the oldest ongoing annual community event in Vancouver.
