Eaton’s Boycott – May Extravanganza

Poster advertising a fundraising and solidarity event held in May 1985 at Massey Hall in Toronto in support of the strikers at Eaton’s. The event featured many well-known entertainers and celebrities, including the Parachute Club, Eric Peterson, Taborah Johnson, Margaret Atwood, Erica Ritter, and Jackie Burroughs. This poster was circulated by the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union, Ontario Federation of Labour, and the Labour Council of Metro Toronto.
