This poster was created for International Women’s Day by the Women’s Bureau of the Canadian Labour Congress. The poster features four women working at a table inside a life-raft below text that reads “Unions Work For Women.” Test runs along the lefthand side detailing reasons that women workers deserve a union. The poster was designed by Joss McLennan and illustrated by Suzanne Mogensen in the 1990s.
