This undated poster promotes two days of readings and plays organized by the West Coast Women & Words Society, held in various halls and auditoriums on the University of British Columbia campus. Incorporated in 1982, the society aimed to support and promote women’s writing. Until its dissolution in 1998, it hosted conferences, poetry competitions and readings, published anthologies, and ran a mentorship program to connect and support writers.
