This poster was created to advertise the World March of Women which took place from March 8th to October 17th, 2000, and provides details about the reasons for the march, including commemorating December 6th, domestic abuse rates, the 1998 Women’s March Against Poverty and Violence, and shelter funding. The design uses cream and purple text on a red background featuring an illustration of  women holding hands inside the symbol for women. The large text reads “December 6, 1989” and “World March for Women 2000.” Graphic design and illustration is by Joss Maclennan.
