AGM & Lobby (1978): NAC President’s Report

The President’s Report covers the National Action Committee on the Status of Women’s (NAC) activities and work of Executive members, as well as government relations and funding through Status of Women. It also notes that NAC is growing as an organization with new members groups, including La Federation des Femmes du Quebec, a number of Status of Women Committees, Women’s Centres, and special groups such as the Rape Crisis Centres. NAC is aiming for greater representation from union women, immigrant and minority groups, and native women’s organizations.
