Chaviva Hošek talks to Rise Up about the National Action Committee on the Status of Women’s success in organizing a debate on women’s issues among the leaders of the three traditional parties during the 1984 federal election.
This is the only time that such a debate has been organized by and moderated entirely by women, and Chaviva describes how, against all odds, she was able to pull this debate off.
